If you observe that there are many cluster of red, blue and purple color appeared on your thighs, ankles and calves and you avoid to show your legs, these are the spider veins which make you shy to display your legs in huge gathering. Don’t feel that you are only suffering from this kind of disease. This is common problem and large number of women suffer from this cosmetic problem. They form web-like network of blood vessels and can be noticeable while standing or walking. Spider veins appears in different ages. Like sometimes they appears at the age of 20 and become visible at 40. The same case is men. But  due to heavy growthy of hair on men’s leg, spider vein does not affect the personality. Spider veins are not harmful. They only bring disgrace to the beautiful skin of legs, thighs and ankles.



There are two most common therapies in world to treat the spider veins. 
These treatment options are:

Sclerotherapy:

This therapy involves the injection of a solution which cause the spider veins to scar and close. This solution causes the blood to route through the healthier and stronger veins. A specialist doctor can inject this solution keeping in mind the sensitivity of skin tissues. Sclerotherapy requires periodical repititions. It is very effective if done by specialist in correct sense. Treated vein start to fade in couple of weeks and repitition make it possible to complete disappear the spider veins. Obviously, there are side effects of this therapy, for example, swelling, itching and color changing in the treated areas.

Laser Surgery:

This surgery employs the method of intruding powerful light beam into the targetted veins. This process helps to fade the spider veins gradually. This treatment is more effective than Sclerotherapy. It requires more than two sessions to get the desired results. Laser surgery causes many side effects which include swelling, bruising, redness and itching in the laser-treated parts of body. There is no use of any kind of needle or injection in this procedure. This comparativelly non-invisive treatment.

Remember that these are not permanent solution to this problem. After fading the spider vein using any one of these methods, vein will again appear after 6 or 7 months. Perhaps, there may be some new spider vains appear on the treated area. The doctor, you associated with, should communicate you risk and success rate of treatment in details. Then it will be up to you, whether you are going to undergo the Sclerotherapy or Laser Surgery to get rid of Spider Veins.
