Acne is most common facial disease which affects the oil glands of skin. There are a number small holes on the skin which are connected to the oily gland under the skin. These gland produce oily substance, called Sebum. Sebum causes pimples on cheeks, neck, back and chest etc. It affects all adolescents of 12-14 year of age, either male or female. Acne mostly appears in teenage, when hormones stimulate the growth of hair resulting in more secretion of sebum from oil glands. Pores of skin become clogged, enabling the bacteria to grown in these pores. When body try to hit the bacteria, some pustules, blackheads and whitehead form in clogged areas. It may also appear in twenties. These are three symptoms of acne.

  1. Closed plugged oil glands are called Whiteheads.
  2. Open plugged oil glands which turn the oil black are known as Blackheads.
  3. Red and infected oil glands are called Pustules.

It is available in liquid, powder and tablet form. You can use it as you like. Green tea can be used either as topical application or as beverage, results against acne. Care is always better than cure. Dermatologist give a number of tips to prevent from the acne. Whether or not you have acne, just implement these tips in your daily life. These are given below:
  1. Wash your face twice in a day. There are many impurities and dust which affect the skin while doing routine work. Therefore, it is recommended to wash the face not more than two times in a day. It is also recommended that face wash should be used twice a day.
  2. Choose any good moisturizer which contains the elements to dry the skin.
  3. Drink as much water as you can. Our body need 10 to 12 glass of fresh and pure water to functional properly.
  4. Drink less milk as it also produces the acne, according to a recent research.
  5. Balanced diet and regular exercise is the key to get rid of acne problems. Try to eat more fruits and walk daily.
  6. Get important vitamins according to the advice of your doctor.
  7. Last but not least, try to decrease mental and physical stress, if any, from your life. Try to busy yourself in healthy and creative activities. Entertainment is must part of life. So, don’t skip it.
